Tips for choosing a Tent Size
Tent sizes are classified first by width, then length and lastly by square footage, (width X length = Square Footage).
Small basic parties, (graduation, birthday) with 20 to 80 guests, 20 wide tents work well and are a great value.
Small receptions with 40 to 100 guests, 30 wide tents or shorter length 40 wide tents work well.
Average size receptions with dancing and entertainment with 100 to 240 guests, 40 wide tents work great, (40
wide tents are the most commonly used for wedding receptions). Also, this is the widest practical width for frame
If your reception guest count is above 240, you may want to consider a 50 wide or 60 wide tent. Generally, parties
with dancing and entertainment, a wide, short tent works better than a narrow, long tent.
View and traffic flow are usalie better with a wider and shorter tents.
